I'm amazed at some of these posts. My God people, nobody ever said if you
don't buy this unit your copy of WE will stop working. Give it up, get a
life. What about people who live by themselves, have just lost their sight
and have no one to read mail or anything! And GW is not asking anyone to
invest in their business plan, just offering another product to those who
may want it. Did you get mad when the stereo company sold all in one stereos
even though you could purchase each piece individually maybe cheaper? No,
you just bought what you wanted and never wrote Zenith or RCA.
What is it with this list?

This sounds like a really good product for those with no computer
experience and
the price is not that much different than what they would have to pay to
purchase
all of the required items, i.e, scanner, speech, OCR, computer, etc. to
make it work,
and then, what about the learning curve. There are people that do NOT
want anything
to do with trying to learn a computer, but would be more than happy to
purchase a
device such as this. No one said people on this list had to purchase the
device.
After all, this is a GW-Micro site and they should be allowed to post any
announcement
for any product they sell. If you don't want to purchase it, that is your
choice.
If you can't afford it, well, you are not alone, but there are those that,
I am sure,
will do so. Thank you, GW, for the information.
Carol
