Well, Thus far, the update went smoothly. The behavior in TBird 3.1.16 is disappointing. The problem of flipping into browse mode in email replies is still occurring. And, there is something far worse. As I am typing this message, WE is echoing the test of each line up to the last letter I have typed every time I hit a keystroke. This is not something I can live with for very long. Before I am told to upgrade TBird, I am letting you know that I will not be doing this, because, if I have to back out 7.5.2 I do not want to also have to re-install TBird. For reference, I am not using the TBird app. That app has randomly caused TBird to crash when hitting escape to close a message for some time. I also just discovered that the use of my arrow keys is also causing WE to read the entirety of the current line in the text editor each time I move. The only way I can sanely type a message right now is to type fast and use the mouse pointer for review.
