I had my setttings for TB messages to read text. When opening IE8, it took much longer to open pages. The time difference was considerable. When I switched the reading for emails to simple htmp, the speed increased dramaticly. The TB is version 8. My default page for IE is http://www.google.com/accessibility/labs/search/ and is a clean page with only three links and two headings. I am curious as to why my email settings would effect the loading time of my browser. I have not checked FF to see how that works.
