Steve,
The mouse is primarily the only way to manipulate the WMDC interface. I
haven't used it in a while, but I recall that you also must hover the
mouse over certain parts of the window, such as Programs, to see the
related items to install/remove applications. On the whole, it's usable
but not what I would call intuitive.
