Okay, still trying to piece together what goes with what, but this is driving me crazy! Several times now when doing some little task, a bunch of errors for various apps come up and Window-eyes behavior gets strange. I'll give you the latest example. I was working in Windows Explorer. I had chosen a file to work on and then hit the context menu key. Window-eyes just repeated the file name and I didn't go into the context menu. Thinking it might be a Window-eyes reading issue, I hit escape to leave what might be the context menu and tried again with the same result. So I thought I'd shut Window-eyes down and restart it. That's when I found errors for GW toolkit.vbs, select text.vbs and weathernet.vbs. I had the choice of stop app, restart app or ignore error. I chose ignore. When I came out of there, I noticed I had no sound. I've lost sound randomly several times on this computer and haven't found the source yet. I thought the sound thing was completely unrelated to Window-eyes, but now I'm not sure about anything. Anyway, I ended up having to restart my computer before everything was settled down again. But I sure don't know why i'm getting all these errors popping up for apps that aren't even in use at the time. I have a hunch something big broke somewhere in this release. I'm using Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, by the way. I'm getting a bit frustrated with the loss in productivity lately thanks to my screen reader.
Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.
