Hi James, I'm using WE 7.5.2 on vista at home, and win 7 and win xp at work, and haven't seen any of this.
My guess, for what it's worth, is that this is related to something on your system (such as an anti-virus package). Basically every running script crashes. The computer is often sitting there not doing anything when it occurs, so it is not particularly dependent on doing any specific activity. I am guessing it has something to do with instability somewhere either with WindowEyes or something underlying that the script engine depends on. If you have set up accounts on your machine with passwords, even if for no other reason, you can often log out and log back in instead of a full reboot. Logging out of the account is usually enough to clear things enough to be a "fresh start" for WindowEyes at least and many other things too. I guess you don't really have to have a password, just log out and press enter to log back in on the account. It saves time and productivity when we must put up with nonsense.
