Hello all, I just thought that the community may benefit from this. I run SQL Server 2008 R2 Express and Developer editions on my Server and workstation respectively, but I have issues seeing the state of the checkboxes during installation, upgrade, and add/remove features states of SQL Server. Is this a WE thing? (at least WE tells me that there are boxes to be checked for JFW doesn't give me even that information). The only problem is that it will always report a box as unchecked regardless of the actual state of the checkbox. Has anyone else noticed this? It drives me crazy as I don't know what I'm checking and unchecking in the features dialog, and that could be detrimental for the attack surface of a production server. Any info or resolutions would be good. Thanks.
