I have also seen this behavior. I also have seen a pattern in which upon an attempted exit, WE crashes and seems to seize control of the system audio. Speech ceases, and no other screen reader is able to speak. Sometimes it is possible to regain control of the audio and use NVDA. When I am successful in this Windows displays a screen telling me that WE has stopped functioning and giving me a choice of closing WE or searching the internet for a solution. If I choose close, I can usually reload WE and return to my business. About 30% of the time recovery requires shutting down the machine with the power button. This one is a new and most special feature of WE 7.5.2.0. I am seeing this about once/day.
