Hi Katherine, Yes, it is designed to load when Word loads; however, if you've refreshed your Word set files from the factory set files, you will lose this automatic loading, and you will need to reinstall the app again (also the WordNav app as well). It's easy to check if it's loading; after Word has started, bring up the WE control panel, press alt-a for the apps menu, and see if you see an entry for the Word Advanced Features app. If you do not, then it's not loading. If it is loading, and you're not hearing comments, note that you do have to set Word to display comments (the app isn't going to read them if you set Word so it doesn't display them). And finally, the app has a preferences dialog which allows you to control which info it reads. I think there are 5 checkboxes for pieces of info related to comments, so go into the app's preferences (again from the apps menu, the entry for the Word Advanced Features app), and make sure comments are set to be spoken for you. Write me off llist if you do all this and you still don't hear them, because this is a feature which should be working for you. hth, Chip [email protected]

From: Katherine Moss [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, December 11, 2011 3:44 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Right-click menu options pertaining to comments and revisions in Word 2010 not being read Hello all, I figured that more than a few of you would benefit from this fact. In case no one is aware, for people who make heavy use of word's comment feature, if you want to manipulate (delete, edit, ETC) any of the comments, with WE, it doesn't work. I had to switch back to JAWS to get those options to show up in speech terms. (WE knows that they're there, it just doesn't read them.)
