We all have faith in you that you will meet all of your goals. The only
disappointing thing is that Skype themselves charge a membership fee to gain
access to their API. It looks like that the Skype kit isn't for open source
developers like I and I'm sure that many others want to be someday.

Subject: Re: gw skype problem

Greetings,

We did have a small, very talented group of beta testers who provided much very
useful and helpful feedback. However, as this is an initial release, there are
bound to be problems and growing pains as many more users begin working with
the program. Support for other screen readers (including NVDA) should be
working. The fact that some do and others do not is something we will be
looking into.

Also, keep in mind that this is just another way to access the Skype service.
If you're happy with Skype Talking or whatever you have been using before, then
by all means keep using it if you prefer. Our eventual goal is to match the
official Skype client feature for feature.
However, as Skype has had eight years to perfect their service and this project
is only three months old, it will take time.

Thanks and best regards,
Steve
