hi everyone, i been a loyal user of wineyes since the old dos days. using there dos screen reader. and in my old laptop i still use that for taking notes. i think gw. is providing a great product as well. and they are generous in giving us certain free updates. but the larger major updates they charge for. this is how most software manufactors work. you get a few free updates to a specific version, then you get charged for a new version update. for example, i have nero 9 the full version, and i got free updates for nero 9. but there up to nero 11 platinum now. and if i want that version i have to pay for that upgrade but they still ofer a discount since i have a previous version. this is standard for most software packages. gw. is providing great support and i could only imagine the hard work they need to do in making things accessible for us.
