Aloha,
Here's the instructions for making a batch file to kill window eyes:
,
download pskill from:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896683
:
then copy and paste
pskill.exe
to
c:\windows (folder)
copy the following:

pskill wineyes.exe -t
S

to a notepad document, and save it as:
kill_we.bat

then create a short-cut to the batch file and place it on the desktop.
then right click on the short-cut and press r for property
then tab to hot key and give it a hotkey.
I use control alt 0
Good luck,

Thanks. I'm a bit computer challenged. What do you mean about using your "batch file". I close with control backslash. Is that different?

Aloha,
I have the same problem.
Both the utube video and Windows eyes do not have any sound; however, once I use my batch file to close window eyes, the utube video continues with sound.
Using WE7.5.2 with thunderbird and firefox both using current versions.
My computer specs:
Dell xps 420 desktop
Intel quad core q6600
8 gb memory
64 bit windows 7 home premium
