Regarding tip of the day, I think when that box comes up, you can tab and
you'll find a checkbox to uncheck to turn the feature off. I can't answer
the other part of your question.

Hi Gang,
I uninstalled and then reinstalled window-eyes to see if it might help my
problem of crashing almost every time I try to go to a website.
Unfortunately it didn't help and I've been trying to get things back like
I had them before. There are two things that baffle me as to how to do
them. One is how to turn off the tip of the day. The other thing is to
have wineyes read numbers as they did before, by saying for instance
twenty seven instead of just the number 27. I've done thiss all before
but that has been several years ago and my memory can't seem to figure it
out.
