I even tried doing that just to see what it might do but, I will try again.

Well, I hate to be the one to suggest this, but stating the obvious, maybe
you should restart your computer. Sometimes, I have had instances where the
control key is not active or seems to be in a permanent state of pressed down.
Now, that will reek havok with trying to use multiple key keystrokes. And,
just so you don't think I figured you knew what you were doing, rest assured, I
do feel you have plenty of computer skills. It was just that I was not sure
what you meant when you said you had to use the mouse. Personally, I have
never been totally successful at using the mouse to select files. Good luck.

First, how are you selecting what you want to copy? Normally, if in a
list, holding down shift and up or down arrowing will select. Press ctrl-c to
copy. If choosing items not sequential, place your cursor, not mouse, on the
first or last item, hold down the ctrl key, up or down arrow to each item you
want and press the spacebar while holding down the ctrl key. Press ctrl-c to
copy.

What type of things are you copying? I.E., text, files, icons? Are you
in a document, folder, or on the desktop?

Ok. This is getting annoying and frustrating. Lol. When I copy things
to the clipboard, it seems that I have to hit the left mouse button so that
whanever I am copying things they get highlighted, and copied. When I press
ctrl-c, it is copying my short cuts and I am not sure if that is what Window
eyes is seeing. I have tried this command with other screen readers and it
doesn't do that. It copies what I need it to copy. May I have some help please?
Do I need to get an App?
