Cory, unfortunately, I can reproduce all of your problems. I know "me
too" messages run contrary to email list etiquette, but I think it's
important for the good folks at GW Micro to know that more than one
person is having similar difficulties. These shortcomings have gone
beyond the level of troublesome.

I find I have a lot of problems with TB in terms of editing and such
after upgrading to the later versions. When I reply to a message it
always seems to place the message area where you write in to browse mode
and keeps doing this over and over even if I turn it off. I went in and
tried manually associating the TB set files to the various windows as
advised, but the problem still happens. It also seems to happen if
composing a new message if I don't necessarily put in an email address,
a subject and then a message body in that order. If I try to tab to the
message body and then fill in the to field for example later I get a lot
of problems with the browse mode turning on. Or sometimes when arrowing
up and down through a message WE doesn't read anything or browse mode
comes on. I find I often have to compose my messages in notepad and
paste them back in to TB after. Is there something that can be done
about this and more importantly has anyone else experienced these
problems? As a secondary issue when I press enter on a message to read
it, I find I have to press tab and shift-tab several times before WE
will land in the message with browse mode on and read it.
None of this has happened with the old version of TB version 3 and I've
often considered downgrading but thought I'd try asking here.

versions of Thunderbird.

well with TB 9.0.1. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
