I suspect she's putting something that is not allowed in the Vocal-Eyes, oops I meant Window-Eyes exceptions dictionary. I must have been thinking about ancient assistive technology.

Margaret,

What exactly are you entering into the exception dictionary for each rule?

Steve

Good Morning:

A number of the lists I'm on have the list name in the subject field.
I've created message rules for some of the lists so they go into their
own folders and I'd like not to have to hear the list name in the
Thunderbird message list view. I thought this might be accomplished
using the exceptions dictionary in WE 7.53, but my efforts so far
haven't been fruitful. I haven't saved settings since I wanted to see if
my efforts worked. I've tried putting in a space for the replacement as
well as leaving the replacement field blank and the names are sstill
announced. The one I tried was a Yahoogroups list.

I'm running Thunderbird 10.0.2 , WE 7.5.3 with DEC-Talk on a 64 bit
Windows 7 Home Premium computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Margaret
