I am still using Office 03 and am wondering if there is a WE app which
makes the 2010 ribbon more accessible?
Thanks
Neville.

Hi Keith,
Well, 2010 is the supported version, so problems get fixed; not so much
with 2003.
The file format in 2003 is binary and subject to corruption very easily.
The 2010 file format is xml-based, and even if damaged you can still
load your document usually.
I think WE works better with 2003, and 2003 is easier to use, but what
can you do: it's not being supported, and so you could run into problems
of all kinds continuing to use it; I think we've got no real choice but
to move on and wait for MS and GW to make it possible for our screen
readers to deal with it.
I'm sure there are new features in Office 2010 which are worth-while (I
don't know the differences well enough to say), but the document file
format stability really is an important one. At my work place we're
running both right now, and we do see instances of 2010 being able to
load a file which 2003 can't.

What perks, are there, if any, of Office 2010 versus Office 2003?
Just curious.
How is the WE response / usability of 2010 over 2003?
Thanks

Keith
