Try turning off screen tips in Word. Alt-T for tools. O for options. Tab to the screen tips check box, spacebar to uncheck it, then tab to OK and press Enter.
While you're at it, turn off screen tips on tool bars. Alt-T for tools. C for customize. Press Alt-T to uncheck the show screen tips on tool bars option. Tab to close and press Enter. If that doesn't do it, try turning off smart tags in the tools, options properties page. Me, I shut off all that stuff--paste options buttons, spell check, grammar, and so on. -----Original Message----- From: Wendy Sharpe [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2012 12:08 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Problem when reading Word 2003 files I often hear WE saying Current document control, click to follow link.
