Hi: I disabled the event causing the pop up noise but that did not help. I now boot, wait until I hear the Music and tab 3 times before WindowEyes starts speaking. This seems to avoid the crashes where WE ends up in the TaskBar. I am wondering if something is automatically getting executed due to Focus being on something during the boot process. This may be something since things happen dynamically when the mouse or cursor is focused on certain objects and there could be a conflict with WE installing or initializing etc... I wish it would boot up and set focus to the Desktop rather than the TaskBar. If this solution continues to work I would guess that there is a problem of this sort or something like it happening. If I dont tab to the Desktop prior to hearing the WindowEyes message during boot I get locked up perhaps 1 in 5 times or so, sometimes 2 or 3 times in a row. Anyway, I thought I'd post up what I found that may be working so far - fingers crossed. Ya, boot up, hear the windows jingle or wait until the Desktop is displayed and tab 3 times and wait for booting to finish loading WindowEyes.
