If you use Windows Update, usually located in the all programs menu, there
is a link to microsoft update. I have this plug-in installed in IE. It adds
Microsoft Update to the All Programs list. What it does is check your
computer for updates to other Microsoft products, like Office, right along
with all other important security updates for XP. If you elected not to keep
the installation files, you will need the Office installation CD.

Subject: office XP service packs and hot fixes

Hello All:

Last weekend, the hard drive on my XP computer crashed taking office XP
with it.

My tech installed a new drive, Windows XP, and reinstaled Office XP.

Durring the installation of Window-Eyes 7.5 from the cd, I got a warning not
to use Office XP until I first install all updates and hot fixes for Office
XP.

I tried following the video on:

www.GWMicro.com/support/office

but the web page the video directs me to ;

http://office.microsoft.com

has changed, there is no longer a check for updates link on that page.

Can anyone post the link so that microsoft can scan my computer to determine
which XP updates service patches and hot fixes I need to download, and
install them?

Thanks for any help.

Robbie
