Yeah! I believe it is ALT-O then I and M. I decided to switch to Outlook
because WLM wouldn’t display hyperlinks in messages as links, and I receive
several Email newsletters that make use of hyperlinks, such as “Click here to
read more”. The words are displayed as text, and are not clickable. The “Read
messages in plain text” box is unchecked. Someone suggested that perhaps some
settings in IE need to be changed, but I went through advanced settings in IE
9, and couldn’t find anything that seemed relevant. If anyone has this problem
with hyperlinks being displayed as links, and has solved it, I would appreciate
knowing how you did it.

Did you find out how to move a selected message to a specific folder?

Subject: Windows 7, Windows Live Mail

This past weekend I set up my new Windows 7 PC and am trying out Windows live
mail. Does anyone have any tips on how to set WLM up to work optimally with
WE? Things are generally okay, but one problem I am having is when I hit
CONTROL-SHIFT-V to move a message to a folder, WE does not read the selected
folder. It just says “Window”. Also, I don’t see anything that tells me the
number of messages in my inbox. I just get a ding when I hit CONTROL-INSERT-S.

Any help would be appreciated.

Andy
