Man everyone is missing the boat here. I want a app that picks the
winning lottery numbers.

collapsing and expanding worksheet areas; toggles to read (or not read) cell

cells fall in those ranges as one moves through the worksheet; and more. Lots
of possibilities.
An app that would improve several features of Word: better access to and better
editing for footnotes and endnotes (Chip Orange's app has already made great
advances here); improve reading of some of the screens that are difficult to
work with because their meaning is so tied to visual relationships--defining
tables of contents, lists, etc.; table definitions; etc.
In fact, any app that would improve access for Word, Excel and Power Point.
Certainly, access for these programs is good, but for those of us for whom they
are workhorse programs, I expect any enhancements or improvements would be
quite valuable.
Finally, an app that would make Windows Live Writer more accessible, although
apps may not be the solution to this program's frustrations.

It was a nice discussion, but let's get back on topic about your dream app.
If you want to complain about Congress, feel free to email each other
privately.<smile> The topic for this thread is if you could pay for a
Window-Eyes app, what would it be? Or, even perhaps an accessible
stand-alone app like GWConnect that you could pay for, what would it be?
Thanks in advance for staying on topic in future posts!

Actually, it is on topic for so many members are constantly dealing
with inaccessibility issues when using Window Eyes. And many expect GW Micro
to wave the magic wand and make it all go away. Will not happen, cannot
happen.

Well I agree. Accessibility has to be legislated or it will never
happen completely, or to at least as far as it can.
I never used to think that way, but over the last couple years I've
seen that it's really going to have to happen.
But this is not really a topic for this list.

Why not pressure Congress to set the standards? No one seems to find
this approach sensible since such standards would then be across the
board. As it is, everyone wants a patchwork solution to accessibility.
It will never work and people will be forever complaining... or
dreaming of that day that will never come,

Well, I guess it's high time Microsoft makes Windows Seven for

App that would allow every Mobile phone for Windows to be accessible.
I think every app no matter what it is for, should be accessible.
This has been a bother-some thing for me for years, ever since we
first got into this business, and it will still bother me until
every piece of software is accessible with Window-Eyes.<smile>
Why can't someone start an organization that would require, and make
it a mandate law that every program is accessible with Window-Eyes
and all screen readers.
I know that probably will never happen, but I can dream, can't I?
<smile>
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I would certainly be willing to pay
for such an app.<smile>

My dream App for Window-Eyes would be to have Window-Eyes work on
every cell phone that is Windows Based.
I have wanted this for years.
This way, we wouldn't be limited to Mobile Speak or Talks, or iPhones.
I want to see Window-Eyes on every mobile phone.
Thanks.

While we are still hard at work on the next major version of
Window-Eyes, we want to know  if you could pay for a Window-Eyes
app, what app would it be? I know some of you have answered this
question on Facebook and Twitter already, but we would really like
to hear your thoughts.
Let the brainstorming begin!<smile>
