The survey actually worked better for me out of browse mode. When I got
to the radio buttons, I was able to read the text related to the radio
buttons with the mouse pointer. This is par for the course with WE.

The text is somewhat related to the combo box, however it doesn't hurt
to b cautious.

I did not need to read with the mouse doing the survey. The arrow keys
worked just fine for me and the combo boxes were not a problem. In a
couple of places there were radio buttons that seemed redundant with the
combo boxes but, as they did not speak, this is a guess on my part.
What I couldn't say for sure is whether the quirks were due to W E or to
the survey's construction.

I had similar results when taking the survey using IE 8. I did also have
to use the mouse to read the questions related to the radio buttons and
some check boxes with one exception. I could not simply route the mouse
to the control. I had to read up from the bottom of the screen to find
the questions. We would not find it's way down from the top with the
mouse.

Poor showing

Why couldn't Window Eyes see the questions relating to the Yes
No radio buttons with the Arrow keys, you have to use the mouse keys to
read the text of the questions.

Tried the questionaire with NVDA and it read the question out
before the radio buttons.

                Greetings,

WebAIM is holding a follow-up survey regarding screen
readers. Here is information on the survey according to the website:
"This survey is primarily intended to collect new information and track
updates/trends from previous surveys. By completing this survey you will
help inform development choices for those creating accessible web
content and web standards. All screen reader users, even those who use
screen readers only for evaluation and testing, are invited to
participate."

GW Micro strongly encourages all Window-Eyes users,
Window-Eyes app developers, and anyone using Window-Eyes for testing to
take the WebAIM screen reader survey
<http://webaim.org/projects/screenreadersurvey4/> before time is up.
The survey should only take approximately 10 minutes and is only open
until through May 25, 2012.

If your email client does not support links, you may
copy and paste the following link into your browser to take the survey:
