Hello. I have never tried using a download installer to download a program. This sounds like it was one of those programs which you run and then it goes and gets the program for you. If you get Firefox directly from the Mozilla website it will download directly and you can run the installer which is very speech friendly. It sounds like you already have Firefox installed, but I am not sure what the downloader is for. Combo boxes on some websites can be a bit tricky, and so can flash-based items. However I do not think this is any different than Internet explorer.
Also, be sure and follow the directions in KB1127 so that you can use the mouse pointer in Firefox without issues. Good luck. -- Raul A.
