It is true that some of the scripts don't work as expected. However, you can have your keyboard voice set to speak, and you will be able to identify the keys that Play Stop Pause, Record, etc. I sstill find it good enough to record records and tapes. Glad to hear an update isin the works.

you'll have to use your mouse keys. that goldwave script hasn't been
updated to work with the latest goldwave. the developer and I are
working on a better interface with screen readers and the control window
to be released in the next update.

Hi!

Thanks for this but, Window Eyes is not speaking the commands or anything I do when the command is pushed.

This was sent to me last November. Hope it's current and helpful.

Hi. If you have the Goldwave sets installed there are several hot keys you can use.
The following is from the set file readme which you have access to:

Here are the Window-Eyes hot keys and windows that I have set in GW5.000.
Alt+s reads Window 3, which gives you the sampling rate, stereo or mono and the wave sign.
alt+l reads Window 5, which gives you the total length of the sound file.
alt+m reads Window 6, which gives you the time from the start marker to the finish marker. Alt+n reads window 7, which gives you the length of the file between the start and finish markers. Because this window changes size depending on how long the file is, listen for the "left Paren" and the number inside the parentheses is the new length between the start and finish markers.
