You can go back to the standard view by pressing a "standard view" button. You may need to enter a comment saying why you don't like the new view. However, there are some things that are nice about the new view. Experiment some with navigating with Browse Mode off before you give up on it completely. Some of how that can work will depend upon your browser and on the version of Window-Eyes you are using.

But when I click on the button that says settings, the page freezes. My wife who is sighted, says that a drop down menu appears, but I do not believe it is a true drop down menu. It seems more like some type of hover menu that appears on facebook's main page when you hover the mouse over a post or person's name. Very frustrating.
