Hi Everyone,

Has someone done an excellent tutorial with GoldWave and Window-Eyes? I need to learn it better, I have some things I need to do, and I want to use Window-Eyes to do these things.

I currently use GoldWave with Window-Eyes, but I am not familiar with the hotkeys, and I've been told that the latest version of GoldWave is not very accessible, however I don't believe that. This was a JAWS user who told me this. More power to the folks at GW Micro, if GoldWave works better with Window-Eyes. <smile>

Can we have a class in GoldWave and Window-Eyes? I would be willing to donate my conference room on the Conversation Station on an afternoon, if anyone is interested. I'm serious about this.

Or, if anyone would rather do this on line, then that's okay, too. I wouldn't facilitate this on line, someone else would have to do this. So, in essence, we could have a GoldWave and Window-Eyes Webinar if someone wants to do this, and if no one is interested in a conference.

Would someone at GW Micro be willing to do a Webinar on GoldWave? Please? <smile>

Thanks much.

yep, there's a nice section on accessability that you can look at that has the keystrokes and there is also the keyboard file you can modify, I recommend using the .txt file instead of the interface in goldwave to modify the keystrokes as there is an issue with the coding of edit boxes and we reading previous functions and then the current one. Email me offlist and we can skype to walk you through it if you like I'm very familiar with the program and its shortcuts as i use it in my daily work. as for the goldwave ap, it's not been updated and really doesn't do anything anymore. there was someone who was going to take it over I thought but that's sort of gone by the wayside.

Don't know about the aps. You can get a list of Gold Wave hot keys in Appendix B of the Gold Wave manual, found in the Gold Wave Help menu. Alternatively, if you like hit and miss, you can turn on the WE key describer function, num pad ins-1, and poke around. This, provided you first associate GW5.set with the program first. Me, I'd go with option A.

Subject: Help with gold wave please

I just downloaded goldwave version 5.6.7. I have the factory set files installed, version, 1.75. I am using window-eyes 7.5.4.1.

There is a gold wave app, GoldWave 0.27 by
Darren Paskell, which I haven't installed. Should I install that one or is there something better. I understand there are hot keys for operating goldwave but I can't seem to find the place in the program, or the docs, to learn them.

Thanks for any help you can offer. I know there are a bunch of questions here.

Steve
