Dave,
Have you tried maximizing the window with Alt-Space, X to ensure more
content fits on the screen? Also, if mouse navigation isn't sufficient
to review the console output, our Virtual View app (accessed with
Control-Alt-V) should prove handy.

take whatevfer text it outputs and then right click it, select all, and
then copy it to a notepad file to read it. Is there a better way to
scroll or something? The arrows don't work and the numbpad keys only
