In case this is of any help.

Do remember when the screen of Ninite comes up, to use your mouse and go to the button that says "Details". Then left-click that one.

Once Details have been clicked, you should be able to move your mouse further down the screen, and there you will find a list of applications being updated. Each application on its own line, and with its status given after the name.

In case you do not click the details button, you likely will see very little info on the screen. Also, I have seen times when you have to alt-tab away from the ninite screen and back, so as to get the screen to show properly. Lastly, make sure no other dialogs - like popups from other software - is currently in the alt-tab order. If so, they likely are overlapping the ninite dialog, which could cause you not to see anything from ninite.

Basically, though, I don't really know if you need the info from ninite - except from your own curosity. Start the ninite installer, and when the ninite screen disappears, the updating process is done. It doesnt need your interference through its process. Yet, I agree, it's nice to see the progress. Whether you see it or not, ninite does little care. It will perform its job anyway.

Oo! They must have changed that. I used to could tell what it was doing. I could use the mouse and it would tell me. Not any more, huh?

i just got it, but uh, there's nothing to show me what it's doing once I click on the .exe file. that's a little unnerving. if it were making me food, then I'd be ok with that. but...it's not.

I used to use it, but haven't in a long time. Have they changed the interface, I'm wondering?

Has anyone been able to successfully use the Updater program from Ninite.com? In case this enters some one's mind, I _did_ buy the program, and it worked with sighted assistance. Is there a special set file for this, or is this just something you have to see to use?
