I was trying to use WordPad in Windows7 64bit. While the commands do what
I expected, I keep having lines said to be blank when they are not. I can
arrow up and down with many lines saying blank as if a big section was
erased. If I close the document and re-open it, the text is there. I've
tried redrawing the screen with no help. Sometimes the lines show just a
few letters at the beginning without the rest of what's to the right on
those lines.
I have opened that same document in MS Word 2003 only to find that the same
thing happens.
There must be something that I don't have set right either in Word or WE or
both. I have maximized both WordPad and MS Word. I don't get any document
window in Word to maximize. Is there a setting for View in Word I might
have wrong. I tried Normal and Zoom at 75 percent. I have the toolbars
sharing a line which I thought was recommended. Maybe I have that wrong.
I have a Dell laptop with full keyboard. Even the mouse pointer doesn't
read all the text that arrowing doesn't find.
Any help would be appreciated.
