Hello list, I have a Braillex ELS 40 cell unit connected via USB to a Window 7 laptop with Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1 and some apps.
The Braillex seems to do some sort of time-out after a short period of no use. By this I mean that all of the cells have all pins up . I can tell that where braille should be there seems to be some sort of activity going on, but that does not enable reading of the display. The only way I have found, so far, round this is to re-initialise the unit. Can anyone tell me how to stop this behaviour. Thank you.
