Sandra, You probably should just decide which of the two products best meets your needs. For example, if you already own Outlook and use it some already, I don't know why you would bother to switch. Windows Live Mail can be a little flaky sometimes, but it is smaller and somewhat less complex than Outlook and I find it to be pretty stable. I should add that I have found Outlook to be a little flaky sometimes, too.
