I bought a Windows 7 machine last March. I tried Outlook 10 and WLM and found that WLM works well with the latest WLM app, and after making the changes suggested in the knowledge base article to get the program to allow me to click on links in the messages, I am a happy camper with WLM. Unless you need the other features in Outlook, I fail to see why you would want to bother with it. If all you want is an Email client, WLM should serve you well.

For example, if you already own Outlook and use it some already, I don't know why you would bother to switch. Windows Live Mail can be a little flaky sometimes, but it is smaller and somewhat less complex than Outlook and I find it to be pretty stable.
