Mike,
The option Steve is referring to is not a checkbox, it is just a menu
option where one of the items is checked. So are you sure you have
"Always notify me when app updates are available" checked? If you do
and just misspoke about it being a checkbox, the only other option is
each individual app also controls whether it should check for updates on
startup or such. So it is possible they are set to not check which
would cause the same effect.

I have the update checkbox checked and haven't received one update on my Win 7

XP and same WE version.
As said in "The King and I" it is a puzzlement.

Greetings,
It depends on whether you previously disabled app update
notifications.
However, if you want to be told when updates are available,
go to
Apps/GW Toolkit/App Updates, and press Enter on "always
notify me of app
updates."

Kevin,
Go to Apps/App Management/Add Or Remove Apps from the
Window-Eyes
control panel and click the "Check for Updates" button.
Alternatively,
use AppGet with Windows-G and select View/Outdated
Apps. Or, when
Window-Eyes starts, it will check for updates for you
automatically
(assuming you haven't already told it not to).

Steve

Hi.
I am having a problem with the Outlook Enhanced
app. I called GW
Micro, and
I was told an update would be released today.
I went into the get app
mode
with Windows+G, and installed the app, but it still
isn't working. I
don't
know if the app was updated. I could unload
and run WE to check for
updates, but I know there's an easier way to do
this. How do I do it?
Thanks in advance for the help.
