I’m not sure about your second question. However, after trying out the Google Tool Bar for a while, I uninstalled it. It wasn’t that helpful, and, in fact, it covered up portions of the screen I needed to know about. Likely, the current Google Tool Bar is no diffferent, so I would definitely remove it.
