Have you checked the hot key assignments for a conflict?

Did you use the hot key by-pass to confirm you have a conflict?

Just two things to think aboubt first.

Don't blame everything on the screen reader! My gosh, I hate it when folks
do that! Okay, okay, that's it for my rant. Try pressing the control key
harder. I have issues, especially since my Latitude's keyboard is off
center since it has a dedicated number pad, and so I always have to try a
combination multiple times, since my fingers slide around a lot. That's
probably what occurred here.

Subject: outlook 2010 quick steps???

Good morning,

I have had this program for a while but never wanted to use it.

I was happy with OE. Our accounting program is now integrated with this mail
client and it would be easier to produce email invoices if I switch to it.

I managed to set up one of our mail accounts in it and I think I will like
the feature called Quick steps.

I defined a quick step to forward and delete mail messages.

I named the step. I entered the address for forwarding. I added the second
step to delete after and I tried to set up the short key to activate the
step.

Here is the problem.

The short key commands are predefined and don't seam to work.

They are CTRL shift 1, 2, 3..ect

Why can't I get this key command to do what I defined it to do? I set the
step to ctrl shift 1 and when it is pressed all I hear is Bang and the
message is still here.

Is there a key conflict with WE ?
