My name is Bonnie Adams, and I've been on this list for awhile now. I
mean, a few years. But, this is my first post.
I want to pass on some info that those who have older BraillNotes
(imPowers) might be interested in having. I was gifted an imPower 32
from a friend's sister who passed away last year. It is in super good
condition, but it needed a battery.
HumanWare would have charged me $500 or whatever and the tech person
suggested that I take it to Batteries Plus, to see if they could fix it.
For what this is worth, and to make a long story short, they not only
found the replacement battery, but they charged $71 and change. That
was including a ten percent discount. I figure that things are sitting
on shellves, so I hope this helps someone.
