Bonnie's point is, if you have an out of warranty GW Micro product with a spent battery, you can try Batteries Plus to see if they have a cheap replacement battery. A $500 replacement battery Could not only keep my device plugged into a wall outlet, it could also prevent me from buying the next upgrade of Window-Eyes if I found myself needing the device more than a Window-Eyes upgrade, for instance, but a $71 battery would get my device up and mobile again, let me spend the $175 plus tax and shipping for WE eight, and leave me ample funds left over to save for next time, or....
