Hi David,

Steve's solution certainly works; however, I've found on slower systems that
you need quite a pause after the windows-u keystroke which starts the "ease
of access" utility, and the alt-n which activates the narrator button inside
of it. If you're a little fast, nothing seems to happen.

An alternate way to do this is to open the run dialog with windows-r, and
then type in the word narrator and press enter. This will cause the
narrator program to start running without the "ease of access" utility.

Hth,

Chip

David,

The command to launch Narrator is Windows-U followed by Alt-N.

Installing WE on a Windows7 netbook I just received a netbook, which I am

My Idea was to start the netbook, and get something like Narrator up
running, and then plug in the usb pen, for further installing WE.

Would anyone please let me know, what keystrokes I have to perform on a
Windows7 machine, so as to get Narrator up running? I am on my own here, and
have to do the job without any eyes to help me, why I am asking. And, this
will be my first time ever, on anything above XP.

So, if anyone would mind to tell the exact keystrokes and commands to get
narrator running, I am sure I can figure the rest, so as to get WE
installed.

Thanks everybody!
