I can explain why trying to open email messages only bings at you. Only certain messages that are written in a certain way support that. Usually those are messages that come in the form of news letters where things are written as a web page. Otherwise the command will just throw you a ding and a blank stare. The saying reply when forwarding messages, I'd had that happen too with WE, but I have just accepted that as the way that WE handles forwarded messages. The headers being found after you delete them probably has to do with Outlook having to talk to a server at all times to delete a message, so depending on how fast the server responds, and especially if it is particularly slow to do so, there will be remnants of the message until Outlook is finished processing the delete command.
From: shannon [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, November 26, 2012 1:38 PM To: [email protected] Subject: outlook 2010 Maybe problems? I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled my office 2010. yet. Noticed some funny things though. The documentation says that mail messages would not open using brows mode. they will be opened in a word format. To view them in an IE window I have to press ALT H then A then V. That key combination only bings at me. No new window opens and that option is disabled if I tab/arrow to it in the ribbon. I have pressed ctrl shift A and I hear the brows pop in an out. So is my brows mode supposed to be doing this. the usual brows keys seam to be doing something. We is also saying reply when a message has been forwarded. I don't know how I am supposed to fix that either. And WE is slow to report after delete is pressed on a message. I sometimes have to up and down arrow to make sure that the message is really gone. I sometimes hear the message headers that I just deleted \ I go up and down the list. Is this just so totally messed up that It should be junked and reloaded from scratch or is there a check box someware that should or not be checked?
