Voices are highly preferencial. Personally there are only teo justifications for not simply boldozing the offices of nuance corporation for creating such an attrocity. Q, they are cheep, and 2, they support if you call it that, an astonishing array oflanguages.
Everything else about them stinks imho. The pronounciation is attrocious. The tone is disgusting. The inflection is passable but that's bout it. Kate and paul are way better sounding than samantha and mike. For purposes of window-eyes though, I suspect the vocalizer offered by gw micro will be a dll version. That would make it more stable than paul and kate, because those voices will run sapi5 which is a definite hit on performande. Can you use them with window-eyes and if so how well do they work? Or are the new vocalizer voices going to be faster and more human sounding then those voices are? If anyone is using the neo speech Kate and Paul do you like them with window-eyes and how fast are they when reading and how responsive are they when you are typing and doing other tasks with window-eyes? -- Casey If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
