Hi, if you mean 7.5.4.1, then you can upgrade to WE 8 directly. If you
have something less than 7.5 then you cannot. As to your second
question, if you are a prior than 8 WE user, then you need to purchase a
license to use the new Vocalizer voices. Don't let the over-abundance of
messages about the voices confuse you.
