I have "re-installed" the set files for IE and firefox via the
factory settings dialogue in the file menu, if indeed this is how it's done.
I'm afraid the problem is still there.

I thought I'd report a possible bug in WE8. I haven't notice anything
similar in any previous versions.
Sometimes, and I stress, sometimes, WE seems to do a mini freeze when
one attempts to re-enter browse mode after interacting with form
elements (such as an edit field or a drop-down menu). The problem
seems more persistent on blog sites.
The only solution that I have found so far (and to be honest, I've
not looked for any others) is to alt-tab away from the focused
window and back.
So far, the issue seems to affect IE8 and the latest Firefox.
I would upgrade to the latest IE, except that I am on XP and the
later versions of the browser are not XP compatible. However, the
Firefox I'm using is the latest version.
