David. You can redefine your next text and prior text hot keys like this. Control backslash to open the WE control panel. Alt E to put focus on the settings tree. Press the letter h to jump to the hot keys. Right arrow and down arrow to Browse mode. Press the letter t to land on the text next hot key in the list view. Press Alt C to capture a key combination. The capture key dialog opens. Press the letter X. When the duplicate key already defined dialog opens, decide whether or not you want to redefine the check box next hot key and choose either replace, or, replace and redefine. The dialog will close if you are going to leave the check box next hot key undefined, or, it will remain open so you can press a key combination to redefine the check box next hot key if that is what you chose to do. If you choose a different hot key for check box next, the define hot key dialog will automatically close after you have made that choice.
Do the same thing for the text prior hot key, then press Control S to save your settings. The new key for reading text goes this way: Next Text: N, Prior Text: Shift-N. How do I turn it back to the way it was, the key: x.
