In Eudora, if you want to select all the messages in a mailbox, you can press control-a for All. If you want to select from the email you're on to the end, then you press control-shift-end. Then to delete your selection, just hit the Delete key. This puts them into the trash folder. You can later on go to the trash folder and delete them the same way, in which case they go away for good; or you can press Alt then S for Special and then E to Empty the trash. You can also configure Eudora to empty the trash upon exit of the program. I do it manually so I still have a chance of retrieval until I'm good and ready to get rid of the trash. It's a matter of preference.

Marilyn
