Strange. there must be some setting or something somewhere that's
causing this for relatively few people. I'm running Windows 7/64 and
IE9. And since upgrading to IE9 a year or so ago it has only hung on me
twice. The first time I got a dialog saying IE had an error and needed
to be closed, it was voice fine, I was able to navigate to and hit the
close button, and everything went on smoothly from there. The second
time I got part of the dialog, enough to know what to do, and I had no
real problem that time either.
So I can't imagine what the problem is.

Tom

Hi All:
Jerry, Jed, Manny and others, I have the same problem in Windows7
Professional 64-bit. The browser is Internet Explorer 9. No sound,
nothing happens, just have to reboot and the process repeats itself
again and again no matter what I do.
I have to use a stateside web portal to submit claims for adjudication
and payments. Each time, I can't log back in for 30 minutes because
there is always a previous unterminated session in progress. It means I
can't get any work done using Window-Eyes 8.0.0 on my laptop.
For my desktop machines at work, I did install the Beta on one of them,
but will not install Window-Eyes 8.0.0, whether demo, upgrade or clean
fresh install on the remaining machines here until I know for sure that
it is usable without the problems discussed herein. In fact, I wish
there is a way to ROLL BACK an installation as I'd like to go back to
7.5.4.1 which was manageable. I still have Window-Eyes 7.2 running on
one of my work machines and I've never had a problem with it.
I'll try Mozilla FireFox on my laptop at home and see if this makes any
difference.
Sincerely,
Olusegun
