I have 1 gig-a-bite of ram on my computer, an older one, running xp with about
450 gigs of rom. I was told by support that 1 gig of ram was the minimum
needed for the premium voices. So I downloaded the standard voices. But I'm
finding that the premium voices have a little better pronunciation.
My question is: What signs will tell me that the premium is not as effective
on my older computer as the standard? It appears to run just fine.
Example of difference: the standard version pronunces the word "button" as
"botdton, where the premium says "button".
