All the time. But try this instead of a shutdown.

Press start. Press right arrow twice, then press l.

Your computer should return to the log on screen, with speech.

It's a lot quicker than a restart.

Let me know if this helps.

Subject: windoweyes and computer lockup problem

I recently switched to Windows-7 and the newest version of Windoweyes. I've
noticed that if I switch between programs, or try to perform an action too
quickly, Windoweyes locks up along with my computer. I have to do a hard
shutdown and reboot. Is anyone experiencing this problem and does anyone
know how I can solve it?

Also, I notice that if I try arrowing down in a message in Outlook-2007 too
quickly after I open the message, for some reason the text does not appear
on the screen; I get a blank screen.
