I had the same problem, but I no longer have this problem since doing
the following:
ran task manager
right click on wineyes.exe and press p
and entered on hi
bypassed the warning and hit OK or continue.
Now when my program is busy working, WE8 is reading normally without
hesitation,
which is how it should be, since I have a quad core, and I have not had
a WE8 freeze.
I still have the occasional WE8 not behaving properly. Like when I
opened this email after updating WE8, it would not read the email. I
just logged off my computer, and when I returned WE8 was reading correctly.
Please note:
I believe this applies only for multi core computers, but not trying is
guaranteed failure.
..
You must be logged in as administrator.
If you find the you can not change the priority, try
After you open the Task Manager, click
Show Processes from all users
and set your user name to Administrator.

Now the problem with this solution is that you need to change the
priority every time
you reboot your computer. I found a free program, Prio, which saves
your priority setting,
so you need to set the priority only once.
Please Note that you need to use either the 32 bit or 64 bit version
based on your
operating system.
Here is the link for the 32 bit Prio from download.com:

here is the 64 bit prio download:

Don't forget that you need to reboot your computer after installing
Prio.Manny
If this solution works for you, please post to give gwmicro feedback.
For those of you having trouble changing the priority, here is net bat's
post:
one problem with window eyes is if you are logged in as a standard user
and make
these changes it will switch to the administrator. so when you make
these changes
you are making the changes to window eyes in administrator not the
standard user
settings
each user account has its own w e settings.
that program you linked to does add options to the priority list so you
can save
your changes that were not there before.
anyway.
with windows 7 you have to open the task manager. to processes. when
you get to
wineyes you have to tab to show all users and press enter on it.
go back to wineyes and back to show all users again. this time there is
a check box.
check this. then back tab to wineyes and open the context menu on it and
change it
to hi priority. then click OK. then it should be excepted.

Good luck,
Manny

Hi. I am experiencing the exact same issues. Very frustrating and
seriously impeding my efficiencies at work.
Any advice from GW Micro on how to fix these issues would be
    greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Jo

anyone experiencing this problem and does anyone know how I can
    solve it?

Also, I notice that if I try arrowing down in a message in

reason the text does not appear on the screen; I get a blank screen.
