No, I have not noticed a change, but it is much less annoying if a change is made to a verbosity item to cause the "read-only" phrase to happen after the line. In recent versions of Window-Eyes, this is done by going to Verbosity, Common, and the "Focused" option. Setting Read Window Types to "program" and then changing the setting to "after" will cause the "Read-Only to be spoken after. The "Never" choice does not seem to stop the speaking of this phrase.
